SIRENROBYN is a California-born wearable art brand shaped by the Pacific, local folklore, untold histories, and the strange little residents of the deep.
Created by California artist and designer Michelle Robyn Erwin, each art series begins with original artwork and opens into a world of its own—sometimes mysterious, sometimes unruly, occasionally low-key diabolical. Its residents may be inventive, heroic, watchful, or simply impossible to ignore. None were made to disappear into the background.
Across apparel, accessories, and curious everyday goods, SIRENROBYN gives these peculiar worlds a life beyond the page—made to be worn, carried, collected, and discovered.
The Legend of SIRENROBYN
When visiting the ocean and taking in the untold histories held along California’s shores, one might notice a little splash followed by a flicker of orange beneath the water. Most would call it a dolphin catching the reflection of the setting sun. Those who look a little longer may wonder whether they have glimpsed something else entirely.
Robyn is not always the hero of the story. More often, she is its witness—watching from beyond the breakers as ships emerge through fog, fortunes are chased along the shore, unlikely figures become legends, and old stories settle into the landscape.
The art of SIRENROBYN offers glimpses of what she has seen: curious creatures, coastal warnings, strange encounters, unruly souls, and fragments of California history returned from the meeting place of land and ocean.
California has never been short on legends, and SIRENROBYN is still gathering hers.

Born of California
SIRENROBYN is rooted in founder Michelle Robyn Erwin’s long and layered connection to California. Her family history spans generations of life in the state—10th and 12th generation on one side, and 3rd and 4th generation on the other.
That inheritance has shaped a lifelong curiosity about California beyond the familiar postcard: its coastlines and communities, its folklore and untold histories, its local rituals, changing landscapes, and the many stories carried forward by those who have called it home.
Born and raised as a Southern Californian, she values the coastline's unique stories of old, and urban legends yet to be unearthed that seem to disappear with the passage of time.
As the world of SIRENROBYN grows, its artwork will explore California’s history, folklore, local cultures and living communities, regional character, and coastal way of life with curiosity, respect, and care—honoring the difference between observing a story, learning from it, and claiming it as one’s own.
This is California as glimpsed from the water: weathered, luminous, beautifully peculiar, and never entirely what it first appears to be.
